Grid (Essay Paper) You are required to write your essay assignments on the grid. There are conventions of using the grid that you must follow: -Write vertically from right to left -The first column is the essay title. -The second column is your name. -The third column is blank. -The first paragraph of the essay begins in the fourth column. -The first box of a new paragraph is left blank. -No blank boxes until the end of a paragraph. -Small symbols and punctuation are written in the upper right quarter of a box. -If a sentence ends at the bottom of a column, the punctuation is placed outside of the grid. 　 (i.e. punctuation does not appear in the top box of a given column).
